Chapel: The Main Chapel is the central building at BBM. It rests on the highest hill of the mission grounds, and is able to accommodate up to 300 visitors/students. Adjoining the Main Chapel is the Prayer Room, Conference Room and Computer Room. Adjoining to the chapel is the well-equipped library with more than 15000 Theological, Christian and other books. The Chapel also contains a four room-accommodation for female staff members.
Men’s Accommodation: Termed the “King David Hostel”, the men’s accommodation includes 15 separate rooms, each with at least 3 beds, desks and personal storage units. There are communal toilets and showers. Joshua House is used for the first years and can house 65 male students.
Women and Couple’s Accommodation: Termed the “Queen Esther Hostel”, the accommodation includes 15 separate rooms, each with at least 2 beds, desks and personal storage units. There are communal toilets and showers.
Dining/Kitchen: The student’s kitchen and dining facilities are located between the men’s and women’s hostel, named Bethlehem (House of Bread). Three meals per day are provided for the students.
Administration: Offices for the staff are located on the mission. The main administration building includes a home and a flat, serving as accommodation for staff and visiting lecturers. The house has been home to the Managing Director and his wife for over 16 years. The current new building, “New Jerusalem” was rebuilt after a fire, due to an electrical short in the roof, after the old one was destroyed in 2010. Even in the midst of adversity, God has provided ten-fold what was before!
There is also a staff dining room and kitchen which serves staff and visiting lecturers, three substantial meals each day.
Staff Accommodation: There is limited staff accommodation at BBM. BBM Staff include administrative personnel, kitchen staff , maintenance personnel and lecturers. When available, BBM is able to provide simple 1-bedroom type quarters for staff, approved by the Executive Committee of BBM.
Guest Accommodation: During the Preparation Programme, there are many visiting Lecturers who come to BBM for a period of one-to-four weeks. When possible, lecturers are accommodated in one of eight Guest Rooms available at the mission. In keeping with BBM’s Grace Policy, there is no charge for guest accommodation. Guests are invited to join the staff for meals during the day.
